MISSION STATEMENT
People suffering from mental illness have few resources available to them. The nature of the illness itself leaves some of its victims jobless, without insurance, and often homeless. It does not discriminate between ages either. It is the mission of AVTJC to educate the church on the subject of mental illness ravaging our communities and society today. AVTJC is in the forefront of a move of God to reach out to individuals suffering from behavioral health issues. AVTJC feels that it is time for the faith and healthcare communities to recognize that they are both equally vested in the healing of physical, emotional, and psychological wounds.
VISION
-
To educate the Body of Christ on mental illness.
-
To create a desire within the church to reach out to those in need physically, financially, and professionally.
-
To develop a network of resources within the local churches and communities so no one suffering from mental illness falls through the cracks.
The Build-75
The Build-75 is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization that was formed to provide transitional homes for women and their children whose lives have been severely impacted by the trauma of abuse or trafficking. It is a housing solution that will provide temporary shelter for survivors by focusing on healing from within through onsite counseling, and all the amenities that our facility has to offer.
These homes will be built with an emphasis on sustainable design principles whose primary goal is safety.
We also help by feeding communities that are in need.
